Sona was born from a deeply personal place — from the realization that caring for others is meaningful, but caring for yourself is essential. The name itself carries the heart of the brand. Created from the names of Simi’s daughters — Sofia (So) and Siena (Na) — and inspired by the Hindi word meaning gold, beautiful, and sleep, “Sona” reflects the core of the philosophy: gold-standard care, authentic beauty, and a nod to Simi’s roots in anesthesia and medicine. It’s a name that honors the balance of science, artistry, and restorative self-care.
From that foundation, Sona Aesthetics emerged as a place where patients are treated as whole people — not procedures. A space grounded in integrity, safety, and evidence-based care. A studio where natural results matter, honesty shapes every recommendation, and every client feels seen, supported, and empowered.
What began as Simi’s personal journey has grown into a collective mission: to help people reclaim themselves, prioritize their wellbeing, and move through life with confidence and purpose.

For years, I poured everything into others — my children, my family, my patients. I loved the work, but I eventually realized that caring for everyone except myself wasn’t strength; it was depletion. One day, I looked in the mirror and felt a disconnect: I felt vibrant and alive, but I didn’t look like the person I was on the inside.
Aesthetics helped restore that alignment. Not by changing who I was, but by helping me feel like myself again. That shift sparked something bigger — the desire to help others experience the same renewed confidence and clarity.
I’ve spent more than 20 years in healthcare, including over a decade as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. After earning my BSN from the University of Washington and my graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Columbia University, I spent the majority of my career at Harborview Medical Center, one of the nation’s most demanding trauma environments. Those years shaped my clinical foundation: steady, evidence-based, and deeply committed to safety.
Sona Aesthetics was born from that foundation — the intersection of medical excellence, personal transformation, and the belief that every person deserves to feel supported, understood, and empowered. My philosophy is simple: when you feel good in your skin, you move through the world with more confidence, joy, and ease.
At Sona, every treatment is guided by science, integrity, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing. Helping people look and feel their best isn’t just my work; it’s my purpose.

LICENSED MASTER ESTHETICIAN
Mia is Sona’s Licensed Master Esthetician — a highly skilled provider whose heart, humility, and genuine goodness shape every patient experience. Trained at the Washington Laser Institute, she brings advanced expertise in laser technology, corrective skincare, and results-driven aesthetic treatments, blending clinical precision with a soft, thoughtful touch.
What truly sets Mia apart is her belief that great skin starts with trust. She takes time to understand each client’s goals, educates them with compassion, and creates personalized treatment plans that support long-term skin health. Clients know her as someone who is not only deeply knowledgeable, but also warm, empathetic, and sincerely invested in their wellbeing.
Driven by a passion for the science behind skin health, Mia finds meaning in helping people feel more confident from the inside out. She is currently pursuing her nursing degree to further strengthen her clinical foundation and elevate the level of care she provides.
Outside the treatment room, Mia loves spending time outdoors on her mini farm with her dog Sadie, gardening, thrifting, traveling, and caring for her cows, chickens, and cats.

Wellness & Performance Optimization
Lance’s path to wellness began long before his medical career. With roots as a stunt performer and personal trainer, he built an early life around discipline, movement, and a deep respect for the body’s ability to adapt and thrive. Those experiences shaped his belief that true health comes from strength, intentional habits, and understanding the science behind human performance.
After retiring from the performing arts, Lance pursued medicine, earning his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Southern Mississippi and becoming a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Over the past decade, he has practiced across high-acuity hospital environments, known for his steady presence, precision, and evidence-based approach to patient care.
Throughout his own evolution, Lance recognized a growing need: people wanted longevity, energy, and clarity — but lacked a sustainable, science-backed way to achieve it. That insight led him into performance medicine and peptide therapy, where he found a way to bridge clinical expertise with the principles of optimal living.
Today, Lance focuses on helping individuals optimize their health from the inside out through personalized plans that integrate peptide therapy, strength and resistance training, functional nutrition, and strategic lifestyle design. His philosophy is simple: when you support your biology, you elevate your entire quality of life.
At Sona, Lance leads the Wellness & Optimization program with a commitment to education, empowerment, and long-term, meaningful change — ensuring every client has the tools to feel strong, energized, and truly well.
